Subterranean termites are what we deal with in this area of the country, they’re the real deal…. they can cause significant and structural damage to your home behind the finished walls and floors.  In the spring the colony produces a swarming insect that gets the attention of the homeowners if you’re lucky.  The swarm is a “snapshot” in time and it goes away quickly.  The homeowner forgets the incident until the next year; however, the problem did not go away.  The termites were eating away at the wooden infrastructure year round 24/7.  By the time you do have someone look at it there are thousands of dollars in damages that homeowners insurance will not cover.  Don’t ignore subterranean termites, have one of our inspectors investigate ANY suspicion today.  Inspections are free, what do you have to lose but future damages and heartburn?
